SEOUL, May 1, 2025 – Multifaceted performer Yook Sungjae of veteran K-pop group BTOB is ending his year-long solo hiatus with the announcement of his new single "Lie," set to drop on May 6.

Industry insiders reveal the track will mark a stylistic evolution for the 32-year-old vocalist, blending rock elements with his renowned emotional delivery. The single reportedly explores the complex emotions and facades maintained during relationship breakups.

"Yook has always connected with audiences through his sincere vocal performance," said a representative from CUBE Entertainment. "This comeback showcases a more mature musical direction while maintaining the warmth fans have come to expect."
