TOKYO=Entertainment News Correspondent Korean K-POP artists once again stunned the world at one of Asia's biggest music award ceremonies, 'Music Awards Japan 2025.'

At the ceremony held at Tokyo Dome on the 22nd, BLACKPINK's ROSÉ and NewJeans each claimed major category wins, proving K-POP's global power once more

 

ROSÉ Wins with Bruno Mars Collaboration 'APT.'

ROSÉ received the Best Collaboration Award for her hit song 'APT.' featuring global pop superstar Bruno Mars.

The track, which uniquely incorporates Korea's apartment drinking game concept with ROSÉ's signature sweet vocals and Bruno Mars' soulful tone, dominated charts worldwide.

At the ceremony, ROSÉ expressed her gratitude, saying, "I'm thankful to Bruno Mars for giving me the opportunity to introduce Korean culture to the world. I hope to collaborate with more global artists in the future to share K-POP's charm."

 

NewJeans Takes Rising Star Award with 'Ditto': "4th Gen K-POP Representatives"

Meanwhile, NewJeans claimed the Rising Star Award with their signature track 'Ditto.'

'Ditto,' which brilliantly combines Y2K aesthetics with contemporary sounds, topped various music charts upon release, establishing NewJeans as representatives of 4th generation K-POP.

NewJeans members shared, "We're honored to receive such a prestigious award so early in our careers. We're grateful to fans worldwide and everyone who supports us."
