NewJeans Court Ruling and Upcoming ComplexCon Performance

Shortly after the court’s announcement, Ador released an emailed statement to the press outlining its stance and support for the band’s imminent performance—provided it adhered to the NewJeans name:

“With our status as NewJeans’ exclusive agency now legally affirmed, we are fully committed to supporting the artists going forward,” the statement said. “Ador will be fully present at ComplexCon this weekend to guarantee the performance is presented under the NewJeans name. We eagerly anticipate meeting with the artists for a heartfelt conversation at the earliest opportunity.”

In addition, Ador emphasized that “most” of the allegations raised by the group stemmed from misunderstandings, and expressed openness to mediation:

“While there have been disagreements, our goal has always been to nurture NewJeans’ talents and share their music with a global audience,” the label said.
