SEOUL, May 2, 2025 – Korean pop music continues to demonstrate its global reach as three prominent K-pop acts have simultaneously claimed top positions on Hanteo Charts across different international markets, according to data released Thursday.

 

BLACKPINK's ROSÉ, rookie boy group TWS, and solo artist JENNIE have each secured number one spots in the United States, Japan, and China respectively, highlighting the genre's widespread appeal and market penetration.

 

The achievement marks a significant milestone for Korean entertainment, as it represents success across three of the world's largest music markets with distinctly different consumer preferences and industry structures.

 

ROSÉ's latest solo single has resonated strongly with American audiences, while TWS—one of 2025's breakout groups—has captured Japan's notoriously competitive music market. Meanwhile, JENNIE has maintained her strong following in China, where her recent release has dominated digital platforms.
